We had a very hard day yesterday when we got up in the morning we found out that our Miniature Dachsund Ivy had killed our Miniature Pinscher Teddie.... This is a very hard thing for us to deal with because Richard and I have had Teddie ever since we have been together. Teddie was the best dog he was so protective of the baby even before she was born. He used to curl up on top of my belly and after she was born had to lay right on top of her. He always threw such a fit when she started to spend time on the floor and someone would come over.... let me tell you he went nuts lol!! He was our little buddy and like another child to us, I know that sounds really silly but we have lost a big part of our heart we had had him almost 5 years. My poor husband had such a bond with him he is feeling the loss immensely. I feel so bad for him and wish I could change what happened. The thing that is hardest about this is that how do you tell a three year old something like this happened. We told her Teddie was sick and went to live with Jesus but could not figure out a way to tell Elizabeth why Ivy is now gone. We put her to sleep because I will not take the chance that she attacks our other Miniature Pinscher or take the chance that she would attack Elizabeth... We miss Teddie greatly and wish we could bring him back... I am going to post a few pics of him with this blog. He was such a great dog!!!

So the last week or so has been really busy at work and I haven't felt good either... It has just all around sucked. That is why i have not posted anything since those pic's I put on. I wish they didn't take up so much space but I am still trying to figure this whole thing out. I can't figure out how you are supposed to search people you know or anything but I am sure i'll be able to find it eventually. Just letting you all know I am still alive if anyone even pays attention to this lol......

So yesterday was Elizabeth's third birthday needless to say we had a busy weekend. Richard's family all came up on friday night, my in laws came even though they said they couldn't make it they surprised everyone I was so surprised I cried! I am so emotional it is ridiculous.... Anyway I had his family here saturday for a late lunch and made a family recipe for the food. It turned out really good and everyone enjoyed it. I was really tired because I had to work graveyards and had like no sleep so I finally went to lay down for like an hour. Most of his family went home on saturday night, his brother stayed until sunday morning and then headed back to Benson. We all had a lot of fun then sunday night I had dinner with my family. My dad's birthday was last monday Elizabeth's was yesterday and my mom's is on tuesday so we combined them all into one dinner. It was alot of fun the girls were all able to get together and play and Elizabeth made out like a bandit. I will post pics as soon as I get them all together. I am still really tired since I didn't sleep much until last night. In a total of 56 hours I only got like eight hours total of sleep but it was worth it to make my family happy and my daughter had a blast. I just hope the next time I work graveyards something like this isn't going on.

So I decided to try this out since everyone seems to have a blog these days....I don't know how up to date mine will stay but bare with me I may become addicted. For those of you who don't know my whole family my wonderful husband's name is Richard he is the love of my life the air I breathe and the heart of my heart. He is the most wonderful person, he had a very hard life growing up and it made him the most amazing person I know. We met and married in 2004 we got married on December 29, our first date was July 24 so we dated for a very short time but we are very much in love and have now been married almost 4 years!! We found out about two months after we got married that I was pregnant! We had Elizabeth on October 26 almost three years ago and she is the center of our worlds. There is nothing more amazing then creating and having a child. You never know the world until you see it through the eyes of a parent. Richard works for Navajo County Health Dept as an Animal Control Officer, he semi enjoys it but there is crap that people don't realize that they deal with on a daily basis. I work for Navajo County Sheriff's Dept as a Dispatcher, I love being able to help the deputies and be on the radio, it keeps you on your toes but like I said I love it and it is such a fun job. Right now I am trying to prepare to work graveyard shift for the next four maybe more nights, so needless to say it is now 12:27 A.M. and I am trying not to count down the minutes to six when I can finally go to bed. So I decided to take up some time I would start one of these... I am not sure if I'll be good at this but we'll see.
